A conservatory roof is the single biggest heat leak in most houses. Insulating it is what turns the room from storage space back into part of the home, and stops you paying to heat air that goes straight out through the roof.
A 40mm multi-foil blanket, sealed as a vapour barrier, keeps the heat in the room instead of letting it straight out through the roof. Less heat lost means less gas burned to keep the rest of the house warm.
